Some benefits of having a fitness buddy are that you can push each other to work harder, you can keep each other accountable, and you can have fun while working out. Having someone to workout with can make it more enjoyable and help you stay on track.
It is raining outside, so your shoes are still wet from your last walking session.

Now try this scenario: It's raining outside. Your shoes are wet and you don't really feel like going for a walk, but your cell phone is blinking with a message from your buddy that says she's already left the house and she'll meet you at the trail. 
That is why it is helpful to have someone to exercise with on a regular basis. When you have someone to work out with, you can push each other harder and get better results. You can also help motivate each other.
Having a workout buddy can help you push yourself harder than you would by yourself. They can also help you get to the gym or out for a run. It is easier to keep a fitness routine when you have someone to do it with. Friends who are good at giving the guilt-trip can be especially helpful in this way!
Now that you know you want a fitness buddy, the next step is finding one. This can be tricky because your regular friends might not be interested in fitness or they might not be able to keep up with your level of dedication. It's important to find someone who is as motivated as you are and willing to put in the work. 
But you can also ask a friend if they're interested in buying your home. You can also see if a friend of a friend might want to buy it.
-If you are a member of a gym or health club, see if there is a bulletin board where you can post requests for people who are looking for a home.
-Join an exercise class or take some sports lessons; you might find someone who is interested in your home.
-Check fitness websites, especially those that are related to your interests. There may be a message board where you can look for activity partners.
No matter what you choose, don't be afraid to start conversations with people or post about it on message boards. You might be surprised at how many people are also looking for regular workout buddies.
If you find a fitness buddy, be sure to stay motivated and keep to a regular schedule. If you both do this, you will both benefit.
